Core Wisdom
Why do you persist in your folly? To be authentic you must get in touch with life As-It-Is. Freedom is available only through authentic expression of your Word as yourself. |
[The lines above are marked ‘Rahao’ which is an instruction to pause and reflect. Whereas the first step (Paurhi) sets the context for this inquiry into transformation, the lines above are the core and the essential wisdom of this entire inquiry.] You say you want to change, to improve, and to get better. However, all your efforts at change have proved futile. No matter how hard you try, the change does not stick. You want to be pure and real. Yet, your actions (doings) are marred by your fears (jealousy, anger, greed, insecurities, etc.). But, you keep trying to change. In fact, you may simply be floundering. You persist in your folly! Your objective, your struggle in life, is to be authentic. It is for you to manifest the real you in the world. Don’t you revel in the moments when you think the world got a glimpse of who you (think you) really are? That is because it is a rare occurrence. Most of the times your efforts prove unworthy. Freedom from this bondage is possible. Freedom will arise out of your integration with your Word. If you wish to be clean and pure, then you must be your Word. At every moment you honor something. When you say you will do something, know that is your Word. When you find you did not come through, know that it was not because of this reason or that. You simply did not honor your Word. But you did honor something. What did you honor? Freedom lies in not being run by what you honor oblivious to your subservience to it. Freedom lies in being clear about who you are being at every moment. Freedom is in being aware of who/what you honor and in choosing that which serves you as a self-created being. |
